Subject: Question #2: Life Tank substitute?
In the days of old, we had Bandit Sight, Sixth Sense, ImpInventory and others. Now we primarily have Alinco3 and LifeTankX. While Alinco is great for most things, LTx is the only one that I've found that still gives a "quality percentage" determination based on dmg/AL/bonus, etc.

My question is: "Is there an alternative to LTx that will do the same thing?"

Lifetank will give you a percentage of how good the weapon/armor is that you ID. That is what he's talkin about. And im not aware of any other program that does it.

Ahh.. I wasn't sure. 99% of the people use Alinco to loot, and 99% of the people use LTx to UCM.

And to answer that question, no there isn't anything that shows percentages. And LTx is so far out of date.. only the 350 and lower wield weapons would accurately show the info, since armor ALs were increased and 400 wield mods were increased.

Tings was release shortly after Decal began to work for TOD. One of the first features
was providing information on items you ID.

In Tings if you have "Show Grade" enabled then you can see the following.

[Tings]Teak Flaming Bastone(5) atk(8) dmg(7.5-15) Fire MeD(4) Wield Staff(300) Activation Skill Staff(228) Lore(42) Value(1991) BU(341) Spells Blood Drinker V

[Tings]Teak Flaming Bastone(5) Grade% 33.6 DM% 57.7(92.3) MeD% 26.7(86.7) MaD% 00(0) MC% 00(90) Damage 15(24) MeD 4(13) MaD 0(0) Mc 0(9)

Where Grade 33.6% is calculated from Dmg,MeD,MaD,workmanship against max Dmg,MeD,MaD
The max numbers being used are no longer the current max numbers. The Grade number would be still be
useful on items that has one of the new max number,as the Grade number would be higher.

Where DM% 57.7(92.3) means DM is 57.7% of max DM and if you could max tink it would then be 92.3%.

The calculation for max number of times you can tink is based on not using rares to tink. In above
case max tink count is 9. So if you tink with rares you can easily land another tink.

if you look down you will see attachment "Tings1.0.0.49.msi" just run to install.
