Turbine, first i want to say thank you for Asheron's Call has been the greatest game i have ever played! All this is for is to see if you understand that your game could be populated again and still earn you an income, probably a much greater income then you are getting from it now. I seen what you have done with DDO and it seems to have increased the population of that game massively, i know that ya'll might not want to make AC a Free to play game and i understand how much work it would take to change the game from its present stat to free to play. This could be done differently then how you have it done in DDO, insted of like rendering some dungeons unable to be used by free to play members you could make other stuff like pretty much all content 180+ or 130+ for that matter just start the pay to play or bought content with Viss! We both know your still a new player in AC untill your level 130+ anyhow so this would be a very good way to get people interested in your game. By the time the have got thier character to lvl 130 they will be inlove with your game, but you may need to give them a hint on how to get along with thier game life after level 45. I do understand how much it would cost (time wise) to add this then advertise it but listen advertising this on Facebook and twitter would give you SO many new players if they could download the game Free of Charge and play for 130 levels untill the newer content started costing them money. You can even make it like DDO as in where people could still pay Monthly to access all content as if nothing changed. THIS CAN BE DONE AND SHOULD BE DONE WE WOULD LOVE YOU FOREVER AND EVER!

AC's reputation and word of mouth destroys the advertisement's benefit. They did try to advertise AC a few years ago because they never really did and it didn't help much.

There are many aspect of AC that are really great as far as customization goes. It even beats many current games out there. The only thing that prevented most new players from even trying is the outdated graphics. If they can only see past the graphics part and see how great of a game AC is.
Watching this video on Youtube made me resubbed. This is one of the examples, tailoring

I would love to play AC again.
Did for over 6 yrs. I always loved how the ring spell fired outwards... great sound effects too.

I would quit as well, but not for the same reason. Although the immature, pre-pubescent teens would show up in droves, which would be a bad thing, "free" games are nothing even close to free if you enjoy them. Sadly, because I love AC so much, it would be a significant amount more than the monthly fee to enjoy the game to fullest. That being the case, it would cost a substantial amount more than the monthly fee, and I wouldn't stick around for that type of payment schedule.
Edit: Now if they kept the same payment schedule as they offer now, for the content, and made it F2P (with microtransactions for additional content), I guess that wouldn't be too bad, but, yeah, it would bring a lot of unwanted people in to play the game.
