So uninstalled everything, including AC and redid it all. Along the way I tested each step to ensure it was still working.

Everything worked fine got all the decal plugins going logged in it worked earlier today. So I logged out and didn't do anything related to AC the rest of the day. About 10 minutes ago I was watching a video on youtube when I decided to jump into AC.

I started decal, and ran ACDC. Logged into the first account just fine, ran around in the world for a few seconds then entered on my other account. The loading screen never came up, the game crashed out before any bubbles or logos came up.

I ctr/alt/del and stop all the broken ac, try it again, same thing. So I closed out of both instances of AC and tried it again. Couldn't even go to the loading screen on either client. Turned off decal and tried again, same deal. Turned off ACDC and kept Decal off and attempted to get ig the manual way. Same thing, black screen, window stops responding, gg.

Then I click reply on the video I was watching and all hell breaks loose. Google Chrome starts to lock up, flashplayer is crashing on every tab. I close chorme and reopen it, I go right away to a youtube and try to watch a video and it crashes out again.

The only fix for this is a system reboot.

This sounds like a memory issue. What kind of video card do you have and how much memory do you have onboard?

9400m in a Studio laptop.

The integrated card has 256MB of dedicated DDR3.

The remainder of the system has about 2832GB of the same DDR3 to work with.

Windows 7 + Two instances of AC use about 1.5GB of that total. I also track the ram usage of my video card, and it never goes about 150/256.

Edit: I installed the newest drivers (256 or something was running 196 I think) logged in both accounts fine, only time will tell sad

Still happening.

All media simply locks up.

Foobar2000 will not play music - crashes.

Windows Media player will not play music or videos - crashes.

Unable to watch videos of any sort.

Unable to lunch AC again after it happens.

Reboot required.

System:

Windows 7 x32 Ultimate
3gb DDR3 1066
Nvidia 9400m g intergrated gpu - 256mb dedicated
Intel Core 2 Duo - T6500 2.1 Ghz factory

I used to duel boot Asheron's call on a 128MB voodoo3 with a 800Mhz AMD K6, wtf?

AC uses about 1gb of memory for each client you run, so with two client and whatever the system is using you oould be simply running out of memory. I highly doubt that though. 3gb should be plenty of memory to run both. Maybe look in msconfig and see if there is anything loading at startup that could be taking up a lot of memory. You can also try going into the bios and increasing the amount of memory dedicated to the video card. 256mb may not be enough.

I have gadgets that monitor both my computer ram usage and my video ram usage. Neither go over using half the total allowed.

Just happened again, it doesn't seem to happen (at least not nearly as often) when only one client is running.

Something is completely ****ed up.

Does it monitor the heat for the video card? It could be overheating.

Balla, check your video settings in game and try turning them down if they are set high.

Edit: Oh yeah, have you unchecked Pimphand AND Pimpfilter in Decal and tried?
