opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per

signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

Decal not working after installing Dual Client

I had decal working just fine, but broke it when I installed Dual Client and .Net 1.1. I have already uninstalled both dual client and .Net 1.1. Reinstalled decal and all plugins I use but still will not show up ingame. I may be wrong but I think I had to install .Net 4 to get decal working the first time, but I may have had it installed before I started using decal again. I have tried reinstalling .Net 4 also, but still no go. Any help to get this working would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

next time click on location before exporting. I'd wager you've got win7 or vista and that would be more obvious with an location export.
first off why did you uninstall? and secondly where did you install ac-dc? that is very critical for OSs past XP and if you ever want to use ac-dc you will need to reinstall net 1, installing net 4 won't solve the issue. apps built using a framework version of X need that installed and having framework X+1 installed won't work. you can have 1, 2, 3, 4 all installed and it won't cause any problems. that way older apps built on/under 1 or 2 can find that framework and work fine.

First rule of thumb is that if you are running Vista or later you should install anything dealing with AC into anything except program files. Most people create a directory called c:\games and put everything under that. This includes AC, decal, and any plugins. Try that and you should have no problems.

Professional (Build 7600) <== I can guarantee you that he/she has Win7.. and did not bother to follow any of the 50+ posts in the forums with instructions on how to properly install AC/Decal on Win7.. as evidenced by this:

As for your problem, if you uninstalled ACDC, I suggest that you fix this...
