We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but

Any ideas?
I tried re-instaling everything.
I tried re-downloading Directx 9.0c
Any ideas?

Where did you get the DX9c install file from? You may want to verify you got the correct version for your OS.

The reason I asked is because Microsoft's website will try to direct you to the latest directx. You need the specific version 9.0c. I will post a link so you can try again if you want.
