AC Client Fails With Decal
|
Everything seems to work fine until i click to log in a character and once i try to log in my character the screen minimizes and goes black and says "AC Client has Stopped working". Windows is looking for a solution to the program.
Any ideas?
Can anyone help me on getting decal to work.
Ive installed Decal and AC into a seperate folder (C:\Games) rather then under Program Files.
Please Help

Yes AC works great without Decal. Absolutely no problems.
im pretty sure i did what you said to do.

Also it says "Version 1 Plugin Surrogate" has a Red X. Would that be a problem?

The surrogate error is an error in the registry, but it doesn't do anything. Its like that on every install. I was sure removing the virindi view would fix it. Did you try it again after uninstalling the virindi bundle?

Ok did a clean uninstall of Virindi Tank via your link and it works now
Decal works without any plugins and i have finally got a character to log in.
Going to try with Lifetank X shortly. will post a response..

The virindi bundle is a great package and it works fine, but you might have to disable the virindi view service on some systems. Just uncheck that one service and you shouldn't have any problems at all. Lifetank X has not been updated in a long time so the bugs in it are getting more problemmatic. I would stick with the Virindi bundle.
