I know some here have read it. I've tried in the past, but as I'm not a fast reader and I'm easily distracted, I've always failed. So I finally got it as an audio book (unabridged, around 40 hours). Just finished it today and I have to say I loved it. What a great story. So well done. I was afraid toward the end that he was going to end the story in a way I wouldn't like (no spoilers), but he came through and I was happy. If you're a fan of historical fiction, do yourself a favor and read this one (or listen to it).

Now to pick up World Without End.

Ooh, I didn't know they were making a mini-series. That's awesome.

World Without End is a faint shadow compared to Pillars of the Earth.

We have not inherited the Earth from our parents, we have borrowed it from our children.
