We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but

[MOD-Lock]
Admission to engaging in UCM'ing is still against Turbine rules and VNBoard rules.
Use of these plugins to go around these rules is also against some of their EULA.
Due to this, the thread is being edited and locked.
Haven't played AC in 2+ years, coming back to try this new content. I am use to Lifetank but can't get it to work with Vista. If someone can provide a walk through of the steps needed to get it working that would be great. Here's what I've done so far:
Installed Decal 3.0 and updated, works fine when I don't have Lifetank running.
Installed Lifetank 11.9.9 and updated decal again.
Heres what happens, when I log into AC the portal appears then freezes and kicks me to desktop and says acclient has stopped working. I tried reinstalling .NET framework and no luck.
Any suggestions?

Two things that I see offhand...
1) you have AC installed under the program files directory. If you are using vista or win7 you should put that elsewhere like c:\users\public\games. You could turn off UAC and it might fix the problem, but for long term solutions I would just reinstall into the directory suggested. You might want to get in the habit of installing anything dealing with AC, including decal and the plugins, into the users\public\games directory. It will save you a lot of headaches.
2) 64mb of video memory is pushing it. If that is a video card built into the motherboard you can go into the bios and increase the size, but shared memory video cards will not perform as good as an external card. I would suggest buying a new video card.

If its just kicking you back to the desktop it probably has something to do with video. You could try reinstalling dx9, which is an AC requirement, or maybe look for updated video drivers. Also, if that is an internal video card you should try increasing the memory in the bios some.

if you didn't register the dll's then they aren't registered. There are several threads on here about registering the dlls.

yaroz, thanks for info. I found a couple threads on how to register them but not where to get them. I think I am missing .dll's needed for lifetank/decal because when I try to unregister them or register them I get an error saying windows couldn't locate the file.
Know of any places to download these dll's?
