New Orleans, go to the French Quarter. Don't go anywhere else, it's too dangerous.

Try the fried alligator, shrimp in bienville sauce, bbq shrimp, seafood gumbo, blackened catfish, and anything else cajun.

The Garden district is really nice, and there are some good restaurants there. You don't just have to go to the French Quarter.

New Orleans - I would try Crawfish and Red Potatoes with a Drive through Daiquiri

I'll have to check in ST Louis... I have some relatives up there.

Jacksonville... I couldn't really suggest anything there if you come farther south to Orlando I can help you out.

In St. Louis Mike Shannon's Steaks and Seafood is supposed to be pretty good. And you might see a MLB player or other personality.

I loved the Clover Grill on Bourbon Street. It's in the Gay Quarter, and has some of the best burgers I've ever had.

Paula Deen's was okay but I don't know that the wait was worth it. It was very warm in the restaurant as well and we were there over Thanksgiving. I suppose it's worth it to go there once, anyhow. Also, Savannah is a very pretty town with lots of activities going on in the parks downtown.

Wear comfortable shoes and get there very early for your reservation - like 45 minutes early. Also, scope out parking structures before you drive down so if one is full, you can zip over to another.

We didn't stop at Paula's, no parking, and there is a new parking structure (underground) right next to it. Was a busy weekend in Savannah this weekend, wow. We headed to Tybee Island and had lunch there instead. I like Wild Wings myself, and its pretty much across the street from Paula's restaurant. The only thing I did in Savannah itself was visit Bonaventure Cemetery, lol.

Yeah, we had to park about 1/2 mile away to find parking.
