decal not working.

So.. I did what everyone else did.
1. got out of game.
2. clicked update > no red marks
3. went in game > no decal
4. restarted computer > reloaded decal > no decal ingame
5. re-installed decal > updated with decalutil. > no decal
6. updated with decal on alt update server > no decal
7. removed every damn plugin and decal > we'll see..
running vista..

solved. just ran decal as admin.. then updated.

if YOU don't run as admin when installed to the c:\program files directory when you run update it never can write the new update files to the folder so you click update it can not write the files so they stay red.
best option is to install decal to a c:\games folder where it can write without admin permissions.
