when SM was in her hay-day, and much of the AC community was UCM'ing with eltank (before lifetank was popular/public) I was still not macroing myself
I would fellow with people and level in the AL tusker dungeons. I would fastcast/manual cast to kill mobs and cover a larger area than macros, but I was usually red and running addons to locate unfriendly players. When she would show up I would move into a corner and sit still casting and refuse to respond to her just so she would report me and I could report her back lol
I hated that people were macroing but I hated more that she felt she had a right to police the server, as a player, and report people

Honestly, I cannot claim to miss the macroing days. The pvp'ing I miss. The macroing was, well, not as fun. Waking up at 4 am in the morning because of an admin was not my idea of fun! Nor were the resupply runs that were painful to do when running 3-4 characters throughout the day. Honestly, I can't come up with a single good reason as to *why* I macroed. Best reason I can come up with was that I got bored of all aspects of AC outside of pvp and socializing and macroing was something I did to burn time.
I see some familiar faces on this thread. I hope all of you are doing great, Cursed Ninja included (since this thread is in his memory). Far as Sweet Mary goes, I never got why people hated her. Frankly, her attempts to kill my macros were ineffective, and her conversations with me were entertaining. Furthermore, admins rarely checked up on anyone she reported. Way I see it, if anything, Sweet Mary enriched my AC experience (especially when she chose to go "red or pink" and made an easy kill).

Hey its an oldies thread! yay I belong here. Cursed Ninja was fun. Hated when i had to deal with him on boards but I had to do what I had to do.
Hey elwood - I was one of the few who knew.
Hey everyone else - CN was hilarious. He was far better than having to deal with sweet mary or ilumini. And to be honest, ilumini was easier to deal with than sweet mary.
I cracked my old internet explorer on my old pc to remove sweet mary posts from my vn because i was getting in trouble for removing them all.
I miantain that it was still all trolling/spam.
I left her trade threads but everything else was an attack (whether macroing was cool then or not an attack is an attack) and deserved to be removed. When she got other mods to back her up I removed her from sight completely, i told VN i wasnt oging to deal with it at all. She should have been perma'd long before.
Anyway dont let me derail the sentiments. CN! Ninja Drudge! Nipple fire!

If you guys miss it so much how come you don't go back and do your best to make it like it was? I asked myself that question and find myself coming back every 6 months or so just to get my fix for a few weeks. There really isn't anything like it. I was Trevaylenne Duce. I ran the Focusing stone quest like it was no ones business with three accounts on a laptop!
Never ran into CN but I saw SM a lot in the dungeons. I used to have my melee gimp logged out red while leveling my mage. Someone would warn that SM was coming in and I'd tab to the other account as soon as she came in and whacked her.

Rejoice in the memory of The Brotherhood of Steel.
I have Fond memories of Dieter McBane (my liege) and Number-sun (the iron-man).
Also Sweet Mary was a little whacky but she ran the Cadillac of quests. She was totally organized and always got us through the hard bits. Her heart (if not her head) was in the right place, macros eventually killed the game. Hi to Sweet Mary, wherever you are.
