Ok this is quite frustraiting; I'll explain the scenario in depth as much as I can.
Was:
Windows vista 64
LTX worked fine
Now
Windows 7 64 (clean install, new hd, same computer)
LTX any everything works fine except....
Rares NEVER loot
Sometimes trinkets and peas wont loot (this is random though)
I carried the loot profiles over so it wouldnt be that. Then i actually uninstalled LTX and deleted all the profiles and redid them and am still having the same problem. I normally am really good at troubleshooting these things as it took me forever to get everything to work on vista and 7 but i did it; but this I cannot come up with a valid explination for as everything works except this. Any suggestions at all would be GREATLY apprecaited. Currently I'm not running any other decal programs and i just heard the rare whistle and this is what happened...
The character stopped fighting, opened the corpse, didnt loot (i saw the rare in the corpse), then went back to hunting.

I'm no expert on LTX, as I just resubbed, but have been using it since that point. During that time I transitioned from XP x32 - 7 x64 and the only issue that popped up different was running AC as Administrator caused Decal/LTX to mal-function, whereas running Decal as Administrator had no perceivable impact. My setup has AC, Decal, and Plugins installed separately on a different HDD from Windows 7, and I don't run either Decal or AC as Administrator. Perhaps that will help? Hope you get it fixed soon.

I've switched around versions too to get it to loot them as i heard a newer version had problems but that hasnt fixed the problem either =(

For those who think its a confliction with alinco or vtank, its not i just uninstalled them and i was watching it and it whistled for a rare, opened corpse with the rare and just stared at it and didnt loot it =/

Any idea why my looting feature may not be working? By not working its not opening corpses or even looking towards corpses. After kills it just stands there. I have installed and reinstalled. It works seldomly like a car window motor that has a short .

Not sure man sorry =/. The peas and the trinkets arent a problem any more. I totally reformatted my computer and everything is working fine now EXCEPT IT WONT LOOT RARES STILL!!! =(

ok after looking at your xport i see this [Portal Path] : C:\Program Files (x86)\Turbine\Asheron's Call - Throne of Destiny\
you installed ac in you need to install all Ac related into a folder on its own on vista and win 7 name it c:\game and install it all there and give admin rights and all will be good believe me. As i have installed all ac related this way from the day i got this new puter a year and a half ago has vista 64 and everything has worked liked it should have from first install hope it helps this was posted when vista first came out and i had to fix some peeps games that have win7 64 the same way and they are very pleased.

Hmmm yeah I always knew there was a problem with the location of the installation but the only places I had ever found that it all worked was within the Program Files(x86), and do you think just because ac was installed in a different location that it would lead tank to not loot rares? I installed it in the same place on my friends and it worked fine for him and he loots rares =(. Thats the odd thing. I've done all this before on a friends computer and got it all to work and loot rares...just not on mine for whatever reason =/

If you disable the UAC, the folder doesn't matter. For some reason there are a lot of people who's macro's just stopped looting rares.
I have tried reinstalling/installing in a different folder/reformatting comp and none of it worked. EVERYTHING else loots correctly. It has to be something that was changed with rares that no one knows about.

no one works on it anymore and i just tried installing it into its own directory redoing everything in just the main folder in the C drive and same thing....=/
