I can do without any of them. The Burton Batman was okay for what it was, a Tim Burton movie first and foremost, and The Dark Knight was good. Not a masterpiece, but a good film.

In my opinion Watchmen had the best take on, well, most superhero archetypes. Rorschach was the superhero as a guy scarred by childhood trauma who took a rather extreme measures to dole out his version of vigilante justice. The guy more defined by his superhero persona than his real self. That's my take on Batman, so I vote Watchmen.

My vote went to the first one. Tim Burton was a great choice for the 80's, Otherwise the Joel Schumacker era may have started much earlier. A little campy, but still for a first effort it was more than comic book fans of the time could have hope for.

He may be a strange, strange director, but the new darker versions owe a lot to him.

I'm out here in the left field again, I loved batman Forever but I am a huge Val fan. Christian Bale being my second choice, but again I've been a huge fan of his since Equilbrium. Hard for me to break the movies down to more specific points as I am a big enough geek to have them all, enjoyed each one of them immensely! /Gets her geek on nerd

You have remarkably bad taste.

Christian Bale is terrible. His Bruce Wayne is garbage and his Batman voice is comical.

Michael Keaton was the best Batman by a landslide.

Secondly, how can you clowns vote for Batman Begins? I understand being young or stupid and thinking the reboot is better than the original- but Batman Begins over The Dark Knight? TDK was flawed and overrated but Begins was a travesty.

I voted for Batman Begins (Christian Bale).

Dark Knight wasn't about Batman anyways, that movie was dominated by the Joker and Heath Ledger's amazing portrayal of one of the most sadistic villains of all time.

I don’t get why so many people are all up on thinking Christian Bale is such a great Batman, particularly when each and every time he speaks as Batman he sounds like he is three hours in on a ten hour trip to the bathroom while being extremely constipated.

Keaton was the best batman in the "movies". Nicholson and he were great together. I never was a fan of the old Batman tv series. When I was young enough to be watching those kind of shows, I was a Superman fan.

I really enjoyed the first Keaton Batman movie and both of the new Bale Batman movies. The only other one that I kinda like was the 2nd Keaton movie. The one with Kilmer as Batman was tolerable but then that series went into the trash with Clooney.
