Boards Archive] |
Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.
Please enjoy the archive.

Growing Figs in Container
|
This is my project for next Spring.
I ordered 3 dwarf fig trees, suppose to be delivered this fall.
They will be kept inside till spring and then moved come winter. I live in Colorado so need to take some freeze precautions.
Anyone have any luck growing these in containers?

I have a small green house I built on the south side of my house in the city. I transferred a couple fig trees from a container (someone else) had grown them in previously, so I know it can be done even in cold climates (I live in a comparable zone to colorado), but not how to do it specifically. If you have a grow light that would help a lot! and believe they like weather above 65 if possible.
