Subject: Help with decal
Acclient crashes as soon as I try to use anything,
When I click my pack button, my inventory screen turns white,
when I click out of my pack the rest of the screen turns white, and I'll be able to see my inventory but not my screen

This is really frustrating, I just want to be able to play with plugins :\

From what I know, I've updated everything.
I'm thinking that quite possibly the problem lies in my video card as it's old.

Here's export. Please help?

You're breaking the FindIt! EULA by having it enabled at the same time as LifeTank. Please read the licenses you agree to.

And yes, 32MB video memory is not sufficient to even think about running decal

Actually Yaroz_vn, 32 mb turned out to work just fine in fullscreen mode. I was trying to spoil myself in windowed mode and that was the problem entirely. The video card couldn't handle the desktop in the background as well as directx functioning in windowed mode.

I thought about it, and knew you were wrong, I mean what amount of resources would decal need anyways? I used to run decal on a computer with 8mb video memory whenever decal first came out.

Seems to me people are just throwing answers around here, trying to show off like they actually know a lick about something to get their rocks off.

When Decal first came out, it ran on DX7, as did AC. Back then, AC could run without a video card at all, and Decal was quite capable at running with a 8MB one. Since ToD, AC and Decal run on DX9, which in fact, takes a fair amount more resources. The minimum requirements for AC alone include a 32MB video card, and that's without Decal, which is known to be seriously resource intensive. So, yes, the fact that you're running only a 32MB video card is about 99.9% likely to be your issue.

I'm glad that you know everything that there is about computers... but you might try to advance your knowledge about 8 years.
