Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

For a yet unknown and potentially variable period. http://forums.ac.turbine.com/showthread.php?&postid=470581#post470581 is a post about the date on Turbine's site.
So tomorrow we get to wait for the new memloc's.

This kind of player attitude is completely uncalled for... this was extensively discussed on these forums following the last patch. The Decal devs have done a fantastic job, with very little in return, that has been unappreciated by most players. If you are unhappy with the current situation, Gouru posted (here)what you can do to get involved and improve it.
Personally speaking, if I was a Decal dev, after reading your post I would be more inclined to drop the Decal project and let it die, than to deal with that kind of lack of respect.

Sheesh, I was *NOT* complaining, I was trying to WARN folks that 'Hey we have a patch day, and depending upon how much warning the Decal Dev's recieved we MIGHT have to wait some for the Memloc's'.
I don't recall complaining about any wait we've had in the past except perhaps the ToD transition, I pretty much have been telling other folks, it'll done when it's done type of person.
*I* appreciate the work the Decal Dev's do, my post was to head off some of the 'decal doesn't work posts (hence the date in the title, being specific as to WHICH date) and to hopefully catch one of the Decal Dev's attention to 'Hey we have a patch on Aug 20 as well.
As for the variable time comment, I do *NOT* speak for the Decal Dev's, and thus as NOT going to try and predict how fast they will be able to get to finding, testing and publishing the memloc's. I am not Madam Cleo, Nostradamus, Sylvia Brown or any other sort of fortune teller or soothsayer, I'm not trying to create expectations in the minds of others that *I* have no right to create (or have any part in fulfilling).
If things go well we will have a short wait, if not it'll be longer, but the wait will be what it is.

Whoever posts the memlock updates this month.... sit back... relax and take your time. I love decal but the wait is fine with me! You guys rock :-)
