never boil my brats....or any sausages. cook them on low heat on the grill for 45 minutes to an hour.

Marinade 24 hours under a bath of beer then steam in the beer bath and finally grill them for a few minutes for the flavoring.

That is why you soak them under beer for at least 24 hours before cooking it changes the fat.

Prepped and cooked right brats are not greasy.
