I just installed dual client today so I am new, I am probably missing something simple.

I have my two turbine ID's in.

I have two client paths.

I am running Vista 64-bit.

All options are on except hide on start up, advanced start up, and use password protection.

I don't know what ports I should use or if I should let the computer just figure it out. I have tried searching other post and post on the dual client forum but nothing helpful yet.

The error I am getting is that I cannot run two clients at the same time.

"There is a client already running..."

try clicking the "Find Path" button after logging into the Character Select screen. Make sure you're also at the Character Select screen before attempting to launch another account.

Same facts as his OP, too.

Hey Drakier good to see your still around to assist with AcDualclient happy

After a lengthy break I have come back to AC and I have re-instated my old accounts and would like to use ACDualClient again. However, I have moved onto Vista 64bit OS since i last used the game and after quite a bit of fiddling about got AC up and running and decal with some plugins.

However, ACDualclient still alludes me. I have to install .net 1.1.432 to get dualclient to install, but I cant install .net 1.1.432 as i get the error cant install in 64bit system. Is there any workaround for this problem?

Many thx

Here's a follow up to my question.

I managed to get ACDualClient working on my Vista 64 bit OS. Heres a couple of links that will help

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/894435

and the d/l of .net ver 1.1 http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=262D25E3-F589-4842-8157-034D1E7CF3A3&displaylang=en

You will get a message saying it is incompatable do you want to install, choose yes.

Only problem I have encountered so far is when I run ACDualClient I get the message requiring "Enable Process Performance Counters" just choose yes, And when I close ACDualClient I get an error message.

All in all I am able to dual log and have decal running with LTx on both running games.

Can you give me a step-by-step on getting it running for vista 64?

I've been trolling these forums for hours now and most of the information is so sketchy or piecemeal it's impossible to make heads or tails of it.
