Its down at the moment. According to Tlosk and An Adventurer, they had some issues with their hosting company, which they are working on now. They hope to have everything back up soon.

It was mentioned in the thread about this over on the turbine forums that google should have it all cached so you can still get at the info, just a bit more time consuming...

They're welcome to 'take over' the wikia site (rather than just vandalize what little I've done by making it a pointer to theirs); there's still a concept thread I want to pursue with it, that being the main reason I pushed for it, but life keeps getting in the way, and I can branch off easily without any competition at all.

Wikia was one of the options we looked at when bringing the site back up. Their wanting to 'own' the content and the advertising is why we moved away from it to a better more permanent home.
You of course are welcome to try setting up a competing wiki, but at least currently, you are looking at a difference of 2 articles versus 10,800 articles and a few images to almost 16,000 images. A link to the 'main' wiki does not seem like 'vandalism' to me.
