This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least 20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per page).

Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50 topics per page, while others deemed of historical signifigance may be archived in their entirety.

We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in lieu of that.

Not sure if this information is elsewhere..

i am just trying to work out a quick "how to" to update the dereth map in GoArrow.

i seem to remeber that there where some new hi-res maps produced with the new isles on them.

Could a kind soul please post a link to those maps, and a quick how to for the update?

All my custom markers for Moar City are in the middle of the ocean wink

The way I generate the maps is very not-automated and requires a lot of interaction on my part. However, it's possible that I can have you do the first few steps on your computer, which will generate a file that's small enough to email to me and I can finish making the updated map.

I'll take a look at it, but it might not be until the weekend after this coming one that I'll have time.

Go Arrow has to be one of the most useful and intuitive plug ins. I have never wanted to make a suggestion or ask for assistance in making it do what I wanted it to. Until now.

Is there a way that we could create in game and save to our profiles (favorites) a route. Not from our current location to a destination, but from a quest start point, eg Font of Joji. Something where I can load up "Font" quest route and it displays the route I have identified (i.e. hometown is Lin, Primary Portal is Sawato, Secondary portal is Mayoi) Or "Tusks", or "Pincer" quest and it lists the tusk or pincer dungeons in my order. The plug in may already do this, and I haven't figured out how to make it do this yet. But just asking to see if something like this is possible.

Someone actually just asked the same thing. The short answer is no, it's not possible. The long answer is yes it is, but it's a pain to do. See that thread for more info.

Ok here we go:
  1. Download http://decal.acasylum.com/files/mapac.zip and unzip it to a folder inside the AC install directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\Turbine\Asheron's Call - Throne of Destiny\mapac).

  2. Open a command prompt and cd to the mapac directory.

  3. Type: cellconverter ..\client_cell_1.dat .\cell.dat

  4. Type: mapac cell.dat cell.map

  5. Zip up the cell.map file and email it to me. My email address is my forum name @gmail.com

I should probably mention that before doing this, you need to either thoroughly explore the island, or type "/render radius 25" and go to the island, to make sure that you've downloaded all of the landblocks associated with it.

Dig, Had some troubles with the tools...

(I neglected to mention that Im running Vista X64 Ultimate.)

On running the Command, i got..

C:\Program Files (x86)\Turbine\Asheron's Call - Throne of Destiny\MAPAC>cellconverter ..client_cell_1.Dat .\cell.dat

It looked like a simple path issue, so i changed to Full paths:

Looked a lot better

I then converted the Cell.Dat to Cell.Map using your provided command.

Looked good.. For reference, ended in:

Total land blocks found: 64454

Emailing the file to you now.. It is 15.8Meg, so will host it on an upload site, and send you the link via email.

(Edit, Zipped to Under 3, So I have mailed it)

Thanks, I got it (after fishing it out of the spam folder ><). I'll take a look at it tonight.

For what it's worth, the first attempt didn't work because you were missing the backslash in ..\client_cell_1.dat
