We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in lieu of that.

	It all started with the bar....That dark watering hole for the dregs of society... She knew hunting would be easy, although the kills would be messy, the screams would be silent. It all started with my friend, bubbles the clown. Since he lost his job when a tragic balloon tying gig went horribly wrong, he turned to his only two friends, me and jack D. He had been going to the bar, nightly, and speaking to the cute young bartender with the eyes much older then her age, and a golden tongue that spoke well, and promised much more. He would tell me about her, and her passion for the "Boards" as she called it, and her rise to the top. Little did I know it would involve the death of my friend, and many many others, to get to that coveted spot. I watched her a few nights myself, talking to the winos and weirdos, as well as the suits and ties that came in, with equal enthusiasm. I felt uneasy, as she seemed more like a cat ready to pounce, then a lady pulling swill for the masses that came there every night. I noticed my friend bubbles had become smitten with her, so much so, that he stopped wearing his white face (Although he couldn't part just yet, with the big red nose). He sat there, night after night, with beer running off the big red nose, as she silently pulled him in for kill, and I did nothing to stop it.... He began to talk to me, sometimes with 3 am calls, telling me that he was becoming engrossed with her, and her promises of spankins. Then one night it happened, he called me up, said he was about to get spanked, and he was so excited he felt like he was 18 again. He then called me once more, from a bathroom in her house, crying and saying, my god what have I done, my butt is redder then my nose, and I'm afraid she wants to kill me...Then the phone went dead... I waited a week with no word from him, and I decided to investigate, I followed her home one night, waited till she was fast asleep, and I slipped in. It was surprisingly easy, the door was unlocked, and yet I wasn't afraid. I nosed through the house, and silently crept into the living room. What I found on the wall above the fireplace sickened me, it was a line of big red noses, all hung in a straight line, and below each one a paddle, with names engraved on each, and I quickly took all this in, and then I saw bubbles name, on a well worn paddle. As I took the horror of all this in, I felt a presence behind me, I quickly turned and found her standing in the kitchen light, dressed only in high heels, thigh high black stockings, and a smile. She had a paddle in her hand, and she smiled at me, "Well your not a clown nor a person in authority, but you'll do my friend, you'll do nicely", and slowly walked forward. I found myself unable to run, and excited all at once, now I understood it all. These were not just clowns she had been killing, but competition. I know knew she had gained another wrung on the ladder, and I would never be able to tell anyone... Tomorrow I would be dead, and she would still be climbing that ladder to the top, and no one would ever know how....... -----signature----- Time has stopped before us, the sky cannot ignore us, no one can separate us, for we are all that is left. The echo bounces off me, the shadow lost beside me, there's no more need to pretend, cause now I can begin again
