I tried to make some last year, it was a disaster.

Instead of getting brittle, I got powder coated peanuts.
Tasted pretty good though.

Only get the urge to make candy this time of year and
I'm going to try it one more time. Can't let a disaster keep
you from trying again.

It will work this time.

What I remember about Peanut Brittle is the pan you use is very very important and if you use a thermometer test it first to see if it off by a few degrees.

My mom has a no-fail microwave recipe for peanut brittle that is very good. Unfortunately I don't have her recipe but I'm sure you could find one with a Google search.

I especially love the cashew brittle we can buy here in Wisconsin. Our local Amish folks make and sell it.
