This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

Im running Vista 32.DX10
As far as i know ive got updated xml, framework, decal, melocks...and whatever else im supposed to have is all current.
AC works w/out decal, but when i load decal(as admin) and update it seems to go fine. till the game chooses a server and tries to load AC...then it crashes
ive re-installed the game after getting this error message:

X this aplication has failed to start becasue d3d9_30.dll was not found.
re-installing the aplication may fix this problem

re-installing asherons call doesnt help. so there msut be somethign im not loading right.
its got to be a simple solution i know it. this is not my area of computer knowledge so please keep it simple if possible.

Ive gone back through the forums all the way to january, and stillcant find anyone with the same error message as me, so its not a lack of trying thats prevent me from finding an answer^^

did you run the update from the decal site? they had a link to a video dl for the graphics which was more of a developer's dl (from MS) that had some files that weren't included in the more 'normal' user style graphics dl for direct X stuff.
could be that is what decal is missing.
