Will that prog turn in any item? I.E. Viss Golds/Dark Island golds?

It can, if you add details on what you can hand in to the 'handins.xml' file. It's not that hard just to copy one of the other records and change the details.

By default it only includes information on how to hand in trophies received from gambling, otherwise everyone would expect me to keep it updated with every possible handin and I didn't want to take on that responsibility at the time.

have you tried handing in, once edited, to the Deep on DI?

first off you have troubles in that there is The Deep on Viss and there is The Deep on DI. and while at first would seem best to lump all of the items into one listing. program pukes if you attempt to turn in wrong Deep items at the incorrect Deep.

second if you set up two 'the deeps' then you have a conflict and the progrm really doesn't know which The Deep you are addressing. so that means you need a deep1 and deep2 and have to edit before each turn in (not simple not easy to do). So it woould seem the simplist solution would be to add all deep items in one collector and then do a lot of adds to the 'don't turn in' listing. also not easy to do.

thirdly i don't care where i stand in the DI deep, i get a message about not standing close enough aborting most of the time.



quick question/thought: haven't used unchecked the side pack option. IF i have that unchecked does that mean if i put Viss/deep items in side pack and attempt to turn in at the DI/deep it will only pull the DI/Deep items out of the main pack and leave the Viss/Deep items in the side pack alone thus elminating editing need since the program won't puke on not turing into wrong npc? or is the check use side pack only for storing stuff/stacking?

To be honest, Fortune Hunter's intended solely for gambling, not as a generic hand-in tool; I exposed the ability to make it possible to add other turn-ins because it was fairly trivial to do, but I'm reluctant to add in other trophy hand in's myself as I'll end up obligated to keep it updated with new stuff, and right now I've not got a lot of free time. Also, it can't distinguish between the two Deep's, and I'm not keen on adding in functionality that's absolutely nothing to do with gambling, especially as there's already a plugin for handing stuff in to the deep.

FWIW, you can distinguish between the Deeps by checking the landblock. That's how I did it on a plugin I made for handing in stuff. [I didn't finish/release the plugin before I quit AC, so don't get your hopes up happy ]

Oh, I know it's possible, but it's not something Fortune Hunter's currently capable of doing, or needs to be able to do to function as a gambling tool, hence it's not something I intend to add in. Also, I haven't looked at the code in a LONG time, and my programming skill and Decal knowledge has improved so much since then I'd probably take one look at it and decide I'm better off re-writing it anyway!
