Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

Ops missed to type the messages:-)
Ok Im runing vista and I have managed to get both decal and dualog working but when I log in with dualog decal does not work for some reason. whan I launsh game using dualog I get message that decal seem not to be installed.And if I start decal first and then launsh game using dualog decal does not appear inside the game.I use Drakier's dualog.
Any tips?

you have to have multiple install directories for dual log to work, what I usually do is make Directory called 2 inside the one that already has your AC install. Then I copy the launcher into it (repeat for any additional installs you want). Then you have add them to your paths, every ac install you wan to be able to use needs to be added. Once you have the paths added, then it's time to have ACDC copy all the other needed files into the new directories.
At this point you should be able to dual log as long as you have multiple accts :^)
I know jack about Vista but know you need to install Decal 'For Everyone' not just the admin acct or change it to be able to run as admin. Also you'll probably need to DL and install both the .NET 1.1 *AND* 2.x frameworks....

Thanx for reply m8, but my problem is not that i cant dual log, i can log 4 accounts at same time without problem, but I cant get decal to work when I use the dual log launcher.For some reason it say that it cant find decal installed,and if I ignore that and go on and log in then no decal appears ingame, not even if I start it before I start dual log.

Hmm, it kinda sounds like that decal is not current with memloc's, have you tried to use the Decal Utility program to update memloc's yet? I have had issues at times with the update button in Decal itself so I just switched over the update utility (located in the Decal install Directory) and not had any issues since.
Failing that post a Decal Export so the folks that are better at tech stuff can see what's install and what version you have (kinda important).

I could be way off here, as I haven't run dual log in quite some time, so the setup may have changed a lot.
But, there used to be a checkbox in the Drakier setup called something like "use old injection method", which resolved a similar problem for me.

Actually it hasn't changed in ages, he just changed the top news item on his front page for the first time in about 2 years last week, and the version hasn't changed either (just setup a new OS install, it was easier to DL it than dig thru back-ups).
