It looks like the xml file that stores the inventory for all chars is corrupted, try to remove it.

I don't know the exact file location and name but look for a file named like
charinventory.xml in the "User Documents\Decal Plugins\Alinco" folder.

That happens to me once in a while, more frequently lately it seems. If you remember the last toon you did an inventory of you can usually find whats causing it, or just check each one. Bring the toons inventory up (ig) and scroll thru the list looking for an entry with a blank name. Sometimes you'll find more then one. If you click on the blank name in the chat screen you'll get a partial description, most of the time just the burden and value.

Once you find the toon that has the error you can try deleting the inventory and rescanning but alot of times it will just show back up as a blank name. I've had to actually give the item causing it to another player or put in a chest, log out and back in and pick it back up then usually it will inventory ok, though not always.

Another way you can spot you are gonna have a problem is pay attention to how many items Alinco says its scanning. If that number is off then something isn't going to id correctly. A full mule with 6 side packs is 246 items I believe, if you see Alinco saying "scanning 208 items or some other wrong number you know you are going to have a problem.

Actually I think once you log out and back in and see the error you can't list other toons in your inventory box, it will be empty. What you have to do is go to the xml file and find the "bad" entry and delete it.

I'm working on a new puter so don't have everything setup to check yet sorry.
