I am running Windows Vista 64. I have Decal working great.
When I enable LifeTank in decal and attempt to enter game, the game hangs at "Portal Space" and then kicks me to desktop.
I have installed the VB6, but am unable to install SP6.
I have downloaded and registered the two *.ocx files (one was msinet.ocx, forget the other). Honestly, nothing happened when I did this. Am I supposed to get some confirmation that the files successfully loaded? I installed the .Net 3.5, not sure why it doesn't show in the Decal Export list.

That's unlikely to be helpful. I don't have these installed either, and I've never had this kind of problem.
.NET 3.5 doesn't show in the Export list because it only displays stuff that should be relevant, otherwise it would be far too long to be postable. The current version of Decal doesn't use .NET 3.5, so it's not listed. However, it is possible that some very recent plugins use it, but I'm not aware of any.

I am having a challenge choosing the right VB Script Libraries. I downloaded all those *.dlls, and saved them into my system32 directory. when I try and register them with regsvr32, I get the following message:
The module atl70.dll failed to load.
Make sure the binary is stored at the specific path, or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .dll files.
The specific module could not be found.

Seems when Para and I were working on the plugin he dabbled with Lifetank/Vista some. It seems to me that x64 never wanted to cooperate the right way and I'm not sure if he found a work-around or not.
Have you tried to start Decal and/or install Lifetank in 32 bit compatibility mode?
Also, that's a big negative on the C++ libraries. I've never seen a plugin that requires those to run, but I could be mistaken. Either way, not for Lifetank.

I did play with the compatibility mode as well, with no luck.
To be honest, I'm about to install XP.
