Decal Problem - Decal FileService (no dll) - please help

Hiyas,
Never had this problem before. Have tried the clean install directions, including the clean registry etc. Nothing will work for me. Also tried the removing of xml files from install folder.
As a last resort I did a windows restore and everything looked fine. Then when I loaded AC decal didnt appear and when I checked decal the red x's had reappeared. They were all ticked before I started ac.
I below post an export from decal - hope someone can help me :/

Doing a google search the only thing I see that has the same message is someone who had a bad or old install of ACDC on their system. Any chance you use ACDC?

ok let me explain
a week ago decal and all plugins listed working fine - have been working fine for months. After this patch still worked fine.
But then after the servers went down for awhile a few days ago Ive had this problem.
I tried a system restore - could this have done something ?
Any suggestions would be appreciated - I have all components required correctly installed - windows is fully updated. I have done the total uninstall instructions including registry clean etc.
Still I Im getting this error.

I'm having the same problem as Quinteros. I have no plugins added as yet as decal is not working for me.
All my boxes have red X's. I have all the required updates.
Decal FileService has "no Surrogate."
I've used Decal for years,(THANK YOU!! LOVE THE PROGRAM) this is not a new computer. I've tried every "trick" listed here and on decal forums. Regrestry cleaned. all of them. Sure would like some advise. THANK YOU. I compaired this export to a Decal that is working. The first thing was the Newwork Filters on mine have a -1, the working export didn't have any - before the 1,. I wanted to make mine match.. but could not find a way to change what is on the Decal window.

You said that decal stopped working after turbine's server went down for a few days. Do you remember changing anything on your system during this time? Like install a new program or delete a program? Anything that you could remember might help your problem. And was decal working before you did the system restore?
It seems from your statements that you were doing the system restore to fix decal, but then later it seems you did that first for another reason.

click update?
Seems your killbit.xml file might be missing or old. Either that or your ACClient.exe is old or out of date.
run the launcher.exe from C:\Turbine\Asheron's Call - Throne of Destiny (full path is C:\Turbine\Asheron's Call - Throne of Destiny\launcher.exe or something)
Then you should be correct once you've updated Decal and ran that.

thats odd,,,i was reading into things because I had to do a system restore yesterday and since then not gotten decal to work.
I repaired the files,,didnt work,,,reinstalled decal,,repaired others files,,,didnt work
Uninstalled everything properly and most of the plugins show okay on the decal configure page,,,but going into game not a dang thing is showing anywhere
tried going into the game thru the launcher as suggest,,,still not a thing for decal showing
what could possibly be going on,,,i mean a complete reinstall of each and every bit and nothing?

Decal Problem - Decal FileService (no dll) - please help

Same Problem, installed Vista 2 days ago, it worked up until 10 hours ago when I disabled UAC. Decal crashed on me, re-enabled UAC and it wouldnt start workin back up. Beats me, i tried everything, from all the "clean decal" methods all the way to manually deleting everything decal-related in my registry. Tried manually registering the DLL, reinstallin .net 1.1, 3.5 (cant do 2.0, Vista wont permit *shrug*), unistalled/reinstalled ACDC, (i also bumped into some crazy error that wouldnt allow me to update my .xmls, took care of that) ... HELPZORZ!

Decal Problem - Decal FileService (no dll) - please help

Was netframework for my machine. Doing the system restore broke that program.
Uninstalling and reinstalling did not work as it doesnt take care of the program,,,,along the way I found a little program thru microsoft that completely and properly uninstalls netframework from your machine cleanly that you then can reinstall (start with version 1 and work way up in order). After this, the decal fileservice dll came back and am running decal once again.
