yes i have tried also did the certificate installer thought that might be the reason it wouldnt update..also turned off fire wall thought that maybe interfering with update.

ya i get a problem where it says it updates but yet it dont. red x's stay and when i exit and restart decal it says it needs update again. any ideas? Vista (Ran decalutl in admin mode as well as decal in admin)

Have also completly uninstalled decal (even regclean) and all plugins and reinstalled

Have you updated your client as well? As for the link that Drakier posted, you need to right click and save each one into your decal folder.

u mean the game itself? yes have ran all 3 clients since patch. As well as download those 5 files to seperate folder and then copy them into decal folder. Still get red x's

Vass: what version do those files say they are? (in the file path)
do they say memlocs.2993.xml and killbit.2993.xml?

2993 is the wrong version, so yeah.
you'll need to wait most likely for updates unless you can find someone else to get them from.

I'm having the same problem I have 2993 also. Please be aware that I am not very technologically savy so try to use plain English or express fix instructions.
