Subject: Lifetank Issue please help!
I'm running Windows Vista.

I had Lifetank working, after patch it does not work and I'm getting this message:

14:50:34 [LTxi] An error has occurred.
Error #: 339
Description: Component 'mswinsck.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

I'm at a loss here all my attempts not working. Any one know what to do?

Start-Run-cmd

Once in the command prompt type in:

regsvr32 /u /s mswinsck.ocx

"regsvr32 /u /s mswinsck.ocx" has to be run from the System32 director of your Windows Directory.

Some systems it is C:\Windows\System32 and others it is C:\WINNT\System32

change to that directory and run the command again and see what it says.

I say the decal devs make a tool for this problem.

I say it's not a Decal problem.

Btw, took me like 2 hours, but I found a clear-cut way to run Dual-client on Vista in windowed mode + Lifetank or w/e other programs.

I tested it on 3 32 bit machines, but obviously does not work on my 64-bit one. Vista is really annoying on compatibility...

I'm fairly sure it's not going to work on 64bit. Seems Para tried that and he said it wasn't gonna happen.

It's not a Decal or LT problem either (well, the 64bit not working is probably LT), I think it's just Vista and being so much different than XP.

Yeah if it's 64-bit, no chance at the moment that is. Trying to rebuild the old version of LT to support 64-bit, but that probably won't work out too well.

LT supports 64-bit Vista, you just need to download and register some VB6 components. Do a search.

Yes, but with Dual-Client, haven't found a work-around yet. And dual-client and LT run hand and hand.
