Subject: Plugin for Scroll Looting/Management?
Not sure if any plugin exists anymore, but what I'm looking for is one that knows which spells you have on the current toon you're playing, and when you loot a corpse, it will tell you that you need that scroll. (Also would work with trade window). I'm pretty sure that Bandit Sight was one that did this awhile back, but I'm a returning old player, and starting fresh, so not sure what is the best way to locate the scrolls I need.

Thanks for any help. happy

there are a couple choices out there, but none are exactly what you are after:

Alinco has a new option to track scrolls for various chars. can be usefull, but it wasnt perfet the last time i used it (picks up all schools, whether trained or not? tho, i dont know if that list is linked to the other scroll/spell options) if you have more than one char that you are collecting scrolls for, you can fairly easily fill up your packs

another i use is ScrollWatcher. its simple, basic, and doesnt work with trade windows at all. all it does is send a line of text to the chat window when theres a scroll for some char that you havent learned yet. it hs all command line based, so check the help to see what it can do.

other than that, i havent heard of any current plugins. perhaps if Digero finds some more time he can update his old plugin which i believe is what you are remembering (Scroll Manager) all of the above plugins should still be linked on Suca's page (if you dont have it, check the sticky above)

Ah, yes, scroll manager, that sounds very familiar (and I thought that was the name, but sounded "too simple", hehe).

Anyhow, will check out that first, that may be the closest for the time being to what I'm looking for.

Thanks for all the help, much appreciated. happy
