She's married to Brother Tempus (whom I actually miss), has two cute little boys and lives in Vegas (or the suburbs surrounding it.) Sorry Sorry Sorry, had a friend kidnap me for lunch.
This one will probably be a bit more brief than my last one just because I feel like doody and I have to leave for a going-away party in about 10 minutes
I was born a little over 32 years ago in Heidelberg Germany to an Army fella and his German bride. I was later to find out that my conception was not exactly planned and while my father was thrilled, my mother was anything but. I guess she was a ripe old 32 when she got preggers with me and at that time it was considered ancient and socially unacceptable of a woman that age to have kids. This explains alot about my childhood.
I actually don't remember tons, just the usual stuff like who my best friends were, where we lived etc. By the time I was 11 I had moved a total of 7 times including 3 states and eventually ended up back in Germany.
Both my mother and father were raging alcoholics and my mother was suffering from depression as I found out later and eventually committed suicide when I was 9. The last memory I have of her was me refusing to take a bath and wanting to watch Ripley's Believe it or Not instead. JOY!
In any case, I ended up back in Germany when I was 11 and stayed there until I was about 21. Middle school and HS were pretty much uneventful. I Had a HS BF for 3 years and we had alot of fun and partook in many of the joys of Europe and it's culture but I'll leave that out for TOS reasons
Towards the end of our relationship I realized he wasn't ready to "settle down" and cut him loose after I met BT. I started going to some of BT's band rehearsals and about 6 months later we were married.
We later ended up living in Washington DC. I hated it there. The traffic sucked, the weather sucked and the people were asshats. Not a good first impression of the US for me as an adult. He ended up out of the military on a medical discharge because they farked up his knee and we decided to move to Las Vegas. We knew some people there and the real estate was cheap and there were no state taxes so...why not!
Things didn't work out in Vegas job wise so he ended up taking a contract job in Fallon NV up at the TOPGUN school. We stayed there about 3 years and somewhere in late 1999 a coworker introduced BT to AC...
That was a lonnnnng relationship. Well at least until 2004 It's been off and on since then hehe. That was how we ended up on this board
We moved to Vegas in 2003 after contract jobs were cut due to Gulf War II (gee thanks) and are still here now.
We had our first son after 9 years of marriage in 2004 and our second last year and my uterus is officially out of commission now! Just have to get him in to the docs eventually....sigh.
Anyhoo, not as exciting as I would have planned but the timing just caught me off
