Today's thread is all about Silverwuf (could NOT bring myself to call her a victim!!) I've known this lady for many years as we both played AC on FF. While I don't know her extremely well, we have several friends in common.
I know she works in the IT field, rides a Yamaha (I think), is married with a newly adopted baby girl and her nickname here comes from her dogs, I believe.

Yes, my husband Rick, daughter Aime and I are from Tomah, WI and if you’ve ever traveled up I90-94 to the cities, you’ve driven right past our house. We’re only a quarter mile or so away from the interstate.
We are still motorcycle riders, I have a 2003 Yamaha Royal Star Venture, Midnight black with a trike converson http://www.wizardsofit.com/2003venture/motortrike.htm that I absolutely love even though our little girl doesn’t give us a lot of time to ride anymore. I took it out for the first time this season last Monday evening when I went to choir practice at church. I don’t think I told anyone there that I ride so there were a lot of pleasantly surprised folks at church when I rode up. My husband has a 2001 Royal Star Venture, red on red but his is on two wheels.
Rick’s parents have a Goldwing they just got converted into a trike (easier on dad’s failing knees) and we go on vacations on our bikes regularly. Before the baby, we used to log about 10,000 miles a year on our motorcycles – it’s a lot less now but we’re looking into getting Rick a sidecar for his. I’ve been a member of WOW (Women on Wheels) for over 10 years now and it’s a wonderful Woman’s motorcycle riding organization. You wouldn’t believe how many crazy women riders there are around the world.
I work for what will soon be known as the Trane Company (again) in their IT department. I have a very odd and interesting job that keeps me busy. I’m a Data Analyst that specializes in application performance problems. That means that if anyone in our company, anywhere in the world has a performance problem and no one can figure it out, they come to our team for diagnosis and troubleshooting. This means that I have to be proficient in operating systems, databases, networks, storage arrays, software acceleration and different methods of system monitoring and a bunch of other stuff. I learn new stuff every day. My current challenges are application performance in France, Brussels, China and Dubai… oh and Detroit, Michigan.
As I mentioned in my previous Focus On, my husband and I work for the same company. He’s a Java developer specializing in data integrations. It’s nice that we can both talk about work and know what the other is talking about. Most people don’t have that combination of interests with their spouse. As a result of being geek married to geek, we have a LOT of computers around the house (at last count 9 but we just got 2 new systems) so our poor daughter has to be raised in the techno geek household. Lol
Aime is 16 months old now and is the center of our life these days. She’s growing so fast and is an extremely intelligent little girl. There’s not much more to tell, I hang out on the Cooking and Parenting boards a lot lately and am very happy to see Hellnhiheels posting again because I collect all her recipes. I post a bit here and there on ACF but am really not one of the most ‘fluent’ posters around. I keep busier than I’d like to be, still play AC on Frostfell but recently unsubbed my COH account and I have recently gotten back to playing my guitar for the first time since Aime was born.
If you have any questions, ask away. While I’m around, I’d be glad to answer them. Vacation officially starts at 3:30 Central today!!!! We’re driving to South Carolina to visit my mom. Rick’s parents are coming with us so it should be a blast!

My husband and I are both in the guild's RT (high council) simply because we've been there so long and manage the website.

Awesome. The wife and I are almost lvl 40.
We just bought our cottage. I found an abandoned cottage LOADED with Xbows and Axes. Since I'm an Xbow character, I bought it and now I have about 10 different types of 350skill Tink'd 10x crossbows and armor.
Getting that cottage was christmas.
My wife got a cottage next door that was loaded with packdolls.

What does non-UCM mean?
Holtburg is the most active city left in the game. Yaraq is a second ... but there are only 3-4 people there at a time. Danzigg's guild is tied to Holt too.
Arwic, Crag, Shoushi, Eastham, Samsur, Lytel, Rithwic, TouTou, Lyn - All dead towns.
(well... Eastham has a few people in it.)

UCM = Unattended Combat Macro. If you run Tank or Lifetank with your character, a non-UCM allegiance expects you to be at the keyboard. If you like to walk away and have your character level on his/her own, you'd most likely prefer a different clan.

Not everyone has been from FF. I made the list in the order people signed up, except for those that pointed out they had already been focused on. Those I put at the bottom....but not everyone mentioned it and I definitely wasn't going to double check who had already had a Focus On before. I think there's only 8 FFers left on the list and they are kinda spread out (until a few together at the end).

Yes, it sounds terrible but I named my female pup 'Namisha' after Eno's wife
I only asked if I could name her Namisha because both of them are absolutely beautiful with an awesome personality!

Silver......sheesh I dont know where to begin, from Ladies Night out on FF server to the cooking boards seems like we are always running into each other, she was there when I finally hit level 126 in AC back in the day........what a celebration that was! I believe she was also a member of Bael's Angels (an all female cross guild hunting group we made was a ton of fun!)
