I can't wait until the updated version. I know Wolf is working hard on it.

Does anyone else miss this program?

I think that is Deadeye's Color System, to I believe give credit where it is(was?) due.

Edit: And yes, I love this program.

Actually, both Duri and Mustafah are correct. Originally, it was Deadeye's Color System. I took it over about a year or so ago with Ciper's permission, and now it is Decal Color System.

Yes, I am working on the new version, and am almost done. I have a few final touches to add to a new feature...

Main new features:
* Identify colors of wands and weapons (melee, thrown, xbows, bows, wands, orbs, staffs, etc)
* Vista compatible

Main fixes:
* Identify Viamont armor and clothing

Main Code changes:
* Re-written from scratch to pull any references to interops, and make fully Decal.Adapter compliant

Small changes:
* Modified the output formatting

Hopefully, I'll have a version out to those testing it for me by the end of the week.

If all goes well, I should be able to release it publicly sometime in the next couple weeks after it has been tested, and can start working on adding more colors to the list of colors it can identify.

Would it be possible to identify which color Ancient Armor has been dyed? Just a thought, I think that would be cool.

If the AC client receives a message including the color of armor, DCS will tell what color it is. If the client does not get a message containing color information, then it cannot.

Also, some armor and weapons do not contain color information, as their appearance is based off of an image, instead of a color palette and texture.

It looks like the test release won't make it out this week. My time for the week is gone, and with my son's birthday this weekend, I won't have much time to work on it again until next week.

I'm hoping to finish up the test version and get it out to the people testing for me by mid week.
