Changes:

1) Priority Looting Option - With this option, LT will loot soon after killing a creature instead of waiting for them all to die.
2) Crashing Bug Fixed - Should be more reliable when switching characters.
3) 64-bit compatibility - LT should no longer spam division by zero error messages and buff timers should be calculated correctly on Windows XP 64-bit.
4) Enhanced Fellowship Helper - Fellowship helper should be more reliable and responsive.

Note: This is a beta release. It has not been fully tested, etc. Use at your own risk! These also do not include any of the changes C'relic has been working on.

Note 2: LT still is not Vista compatible.

Probably sometime after LT is updated to be Vista compatible, unless C'relic gets to it first. As has been posted numerous times elsewhere, my time to work on plugins lately is very limited.

There still is no cooking buff in the creature buff section. Some of us melees have cooking trained to make rations and would like the program to buff cooking skill.

i tried this plug in.
i had no problem with setting up one of my toons to buff and hunt with it.
but i encountered a problem setting up a second toon.
my mage kept buffing his wand with the same spell.
i shut that off.
my mage began casting the same creature spell repeatedly.
i shut that off.
my mage began casting the same item spell repeatedly.
i shut that off.
i ran him out to see if it would work against a few creatures.
my mage began vulning the same (3) gold phyntos wasps repeatedly.
i shut that off.
now my mage would just stand there in casting mode.
i tried (14) different wands.
same sequence. same issue.

i went back to my first toon and he seemed to function normally.
i went back to my mage.
with not buffs allowed i ran him back out.
i equipped him with a crippling blow wand.
his first encounter was vulning repeatedly (again).
i shut that off (again).
my mage then began casting slash arc spells at everything that was in range.
i equipped my mage with a fire rend wand.
my mage continued casting slash arc spells.
i have the selection for auto select spells but my mage continued with slash.
i logged in a third toon.
my toon buffed without incident.
i ran my toon out and began shooting the armor rend bow at everything in range.
is there a known fix that can correct this issue with my mage?
any positive direction to resolve this will be appreciated.

I updated all three of my computers. I still crash every two or three times when switching characters. I've learned to live with it. Though, I do hope you'll eventually fix the problem. I did notice that the fellow healer feature does seem to be working better. Is there something that can be done to make melee characters heal faster? I noticed that when they need to heal there is what seems to be alot of time before they actually do heal. It's almost like they're thinking about it. Then they either heal or BAM too late they die. Thanks for the update!

Forgive me for asking the obvious (or at least obvious to me) ... but why are we having to deal with two versions? Para's version wasn't on the "official Lifetank site" when I looked yesterday. I realize his is a beta release - but since Decal itself is still not final form, aren't all plugs basically beta releases? Making people choose between versions does not seem to be quite fair, IMO. Just my two pyreals' worth happy

I'll wait for a more formal merged release before trying newer version and actually using the plugin again.

Very glad to see the crashing between Characters is being looked at now. Even though LT looks to be an awesome plugin I don't use it because of that very problem.

my only problem that i ever seem to have with life tank, and keep in mind it might be my lack of understanding it due to lack of use, is when i turn it off then turn it back on with out pausing it i am automatically rebuffed even if i dont need to be. so my thought would be if you turn it on that it not buff you automatically unless you do the force buff to get it started. my guess is that since you set the timer in life tank that it does not get any info about your spells cast and duration of the spells. but again i do not know anything about it at all...

my second issue seems to be with buffing multiply weapons which i am guessing has been brought up before i think. i would like a window inwhich to add weapons and to have options on which spells to cast on them. this way i can buff say 2 or 3 diff bows.

but other then that i like life tank, when i am xp grinding it helps take the grind out of grinding.../e makes mental note to make time on spring break for grinding(wink wink wink) out of AC.

1) Options -> Buffs -> Uncheck "Enabled buffing right from the start"
2) See the eleventy-one other posts on this feature request. It's in the works. Continually asking for it isn't going to make it go any faster! happy

ok good to know about the buff thing, changed it now works better...

2nd item i said i thought had been brought up for sure but was not 100%

new issue
after i start life tank, if i do a force rebuff before the timer is up then when my count down timer is up for the 65 mins i set even though i just rebuffed it rebuffs again. is that normal? or did i miss a setting again?

oh yeah i forget too, does life tank salvage majors? cause it seems like it will pick up a major and if it meets a salvage criteria then it seems to be missing shortly after i salvage automatically? or do my majors just disappear? oh yes and also is there a way to set each individual salvage item to combine all ws below a specified ws...ei my leather i wnat all ws combined but say for steel i want only ws 7 or less combined but 8 or higher i want individual bags?

Yes, it's normal. And yes, it's something we're looking at changing.

Any chance there will be a feature for melees to check mob distance from the waypoint before each attack? That way it wont go far away from the waypoint following a mob that is running away.

Also something really needed is mana checking during melee combat. If a melee char keeps casting stam self when stam goes down from combat and mobs, it will eventually run out of mana, hit close to 0. It then sits there trying to regen stam but can't cast the spell and goes and dies.

Nice pilot error...80 matrons hive.
Olthoi swarm gardian has the highest priority.
Program will pull you into the middle of the swarm to get to it...lol...yes you die.
I set all priorities on swarm olthoi to the same thing so this wont happen.
Live and learn.

Edit for: Trux is carrying raw rations and a cooking pot. It really is nice to have all the rations you need to fight with without overloading your burden.

Crelic, I believe the salvage thing refers to the 'combine below' option currently applying to all salvage sets. So if I set it to combine below 8 so that my steel/iron/etc gets split into high craft bags nicely, then also my sunstone/fireopal/etc gets split into separate bags which I really dont want. Having 3 or 4 bags of every type of salvage going at once takes a lot of packspace if you're looting a lot of material types. If we could set it so that steel combines below 8, iron below 9 and sunstone combine all, then we can manage that more easily.

Question.. I have everything set up to buff and I have been using the forced rebuff option but if I stop in the middle of a cycle and then later want to start from the beginning how is that accompolished?

How do you cancel what is left to buff and start over?

This has been happening a lot for me. Crelic's version crashes a lot but doesn't have authentication issues.

The strange thing is that there is no problem when I use Crelic's Auth version. I have major problems when I use any other version though. Can you look into that? this is really frustrating me

Don't think so. If the previous release is working for you still, it's probably not your ISP. I'll try and think of more things that could be causing this. Very strange as that code is pretty isolated and hasn't been changed.

No, it hasn't. Some of the programs that I *need* to use still have compatibility issues with Vista, so I will not be upgrading until those are resolved. No idea when that will be.

I can't speak for C'relic, however.

Ok, that's what i thought. I went ahead and wiped my hard drive this afternoon. Set up the first partition for Vista and the 2nd for XP. Only games on XP will be CS:S and AC i think. For productivity purposes, im addicted to Vista now. Office 2007+indexed searching is great.

Installed but still crash as much as ever switching chars.

Also had an auth error once and didnt have the command to force an auth retry.

Someone mentioned in our guild that the problem Trojan is having could be because he has asian languages installed on his pc, said it had been fixed previously, but maybe it got lost with the auth retry stuff?

It is possible, however due to the limitations of the coders on this project keeping a simple logbuffs.log file and saving it into a folder called "Log buffs" while allowing it load upon start of the program is not a realistic goal they had in mind because it makes perfect sense!

Any chance you could make the program loot everything at once WITHOUT going in and out of combat mode? Lose valuable time there.

What would be really nice is a one button selection that for Bow toons would switch the Bow, the arrow and the heads with one click! Colloseum is such a pain to keep switching!
