opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least

signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

Decal Problems, not showing up, red x on FileService

Been having this problem for couple days now. Have tried fixing it myself, been through all the posts both here and on decaldev and I cannot seem to fix it. If I am overlooking something please let me know so I can fix the problem. I have done the clean install 3 times now and also tried to make sure I had all updates that I could. Have not installed any plugins yet because I was following the clean install directions and it is not showing up IG yet. The only plugin I need to run on this computer is Castaway tho, so hopefully it wont be to difficult to fix..... Thanks.

Ummmm, I honestly have no clue, but I guess I do.... Should I remove the beta? Could that be what is causing my problems? If it is would I just utilize the add/remove programs in windows to get rid of the beta version?

I'd recommend uninstalling them both through Control Panel, then re-install the 2.0 version from the website (Microsoft's)
Then you'll most likely have to uninstall and re-install Decal as well.

Not to mention the integrated graphics card with only 64meg of video RAM. That wouldn't stop Decal from loading, however, but would make things more difficult.

Well I know the graphics isnt the problem, as I have had the game with decal running on this computer for close to a year now. Just all of the sudden a couple days ago it started having this problem.
Thanks Drak, I will try that and will post back if it fixed it.

Just wanted to update....
Drakier, and everyone else that tried to help me. Everything worked out by fixing the problem with the .Net Framework, well at least the FileService is not X'd anymore, havent had a chance yet to try to get IG yet with decal running. If I dont post again it is safe to assume that all is working wonderfully. Thanks again for all your help, another testament to how truly wonderful and unparalleled the AC community still is!
