forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

Anyone know if you you can put in partial nams or wildcards for searching for mobs, i.e. Gold or Fallen?

To the best of my knowledge, no, you must use exact matches. It does not have any pull down for "has" or "exact" like FindIt! Does.

That's another thing you cannot do. It stacks some stuff, MMDs, Pyreals, but it doesn't stack most things (peas, beers, gems of stillness, etc.) . It will also stack things when you try and split them in your pack if you don't disable auto stacking (like trade notes). I've also gotten very frustrated trying to put things IN my chests, like 8 out of 10 trade notes into my chest, the plug-in simply refuses to do that, and it will pick up the notes and re-stack them in your pack. I've taken to turning the auto stacking off unless I am selling, and then only use it to stack pyreals.
I'd REALLY like to see the developer change this to a list you add to just like the monsters/items list. A list that you can simply click what YOU want it to stack, and click "add selected". I'd also love to see a "Stack now" button, as well as an easy to access toggle on/off (rather than having to navigate to a tab, scroll down to the option, and turn it off) Anyone who used the original "Stacker" knows how great that is to have all in one tab.
If he added that, and changed the finding so you could do partial matches, I'd use this plug-in much more than I currently do.
I've enjoyed watching this plug-in evolve, and the developer does seem genuinely active in listening to user advice and wish lists, so I'm hoping he'll continue to do that with these features.

I think alinco considers an open chest to be part of your inventory, that's why you get the odd stacking behavior when putting notes away. I notice that if I'm trying to "top off" my arrowheads, I glance at my component HUD to see how many of each type I have, and alinco will show me the TOTAL count of the stacks in my packs and the stacks in the chest.

Does anyone know how to keep monsters I enter under the "Setup" "Find Monsters" tab?
I entered a few new ones in (Dark Inferno, Drudge Bloodletter for example) and have to re-enter these every time I log the character in. Alinco is not saving them for some reason. It will for one of my characters on the account but not for all of them.
And is there a way to save the setting across all characters so I don't have to enter info in for every character?

Not in game, no. However, if you go into the folder:
(default is C:\Program Files\Decal Plugins\Alinco\Frostfell (or whatever world you play on)
there are profile files for each of your characters. (.xml files). You can delete all but your main character, and then copy that, and paste it (it will say 'copy of ____.xml) and then rename it to each character on your account.
(i.e. I'd delete Lingie.xml and copy Ling_Mei.xml, Paste it, Copy of Ling_Mei.xml, and then rename it to Lingie.xml) This would put Ling's profile into Lingie, when she logs in next. Same HUDs, same monsters same items/trophies, etc.
As for your other issue, of it not saving the list, doing this for the character it does save them for, and copying it and renaming it *should* solve that. If it does not, then I'd suggest you post an export and get input from the Alinco Developer.

If you have problems with unstacking to your storage I think pressing the pause hot-key should help for now.
A few other bugs are fixed for the next version.
I never needed partial search myself, except for the fallen mobs maybe.
People tend to use what is available for them and will enter every item in the game
as partial search string and then complaints about lag on a low-end PC

I'm really happy to hear you're working on the partial matches!! YAY! (And yes I can see the concern with partials, but I personally find them really helpful, but I'm also on a high end PC, so I've never seen any lag from it in FindIt!, which is what I use now to do partial matches)
I'd still love to see you make a "stacking" a tab, with the ability to add whatever each person wants, beer, gems of stillness, peas, arrowheads, healing potions, philtres, etc. anything basically in game that's stackable, just click an "Add Selected" button, and then a "Stack Now" button that would let you stack stuff without having it to be on all the time. As it is, I had to disable the hotkeys for Alinco, because they were over-writing the ones I already had mapped to other things in game, so I'm not able to use the pause hotkey for stacking, I just turn it off unless I'm selling, which works fine.
But as always, I do look forward to the evolution of this plug-in, each update, it gets closer and closer to being "ideal" for me Kudos to you Losado for listening to your users.
Edit: Just took a closer look at that screenshot, that "loot maximum" thing is really an interesting feature, one I'd never thought of but I'd totally use for some things, very nice.
