WinHTTrack is a nice, simple program for downloading website chunks. You can download it from www.download.com. (If you search download.com for "download website" you should come up with a bunch of programs that can do it.)

I don't think rsync works like that, but maybe. Wget is definitely the answer for website archiving, but you need to write a script to get the names of the maps and put them in a database for display of the list.
